Futures jobs for Nepali students abroad

Studying abroad, Nepali students have a tendency to have a dream of not only getting through the degrees but getting a good career in their host nations or in other countries. The opportunities are numerous with the globalization process, the technological development and the need to hire talented specialists. This can be achieved by knowing the future possibilities and the areas that are popular in jobs to ensure that the Nepali students make the right choice of careers and be ready to enter a competitive job market.

1.     Technology and IT Sector

One of the most promising and thriving fields among the international students is the technology industry. Development of software, data analysis, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and machine learning are demanded all over. Internships, freelance projects, and certifications can be used to fortify the profile of Nepali students studying computer science, engineering, or similar direction. The technology industry has a high likelihood of providing high-paying jobs, flexibility in work, and ability to work in global corporations, which makes this industry very appealing in terms of career.

2.     Healthcare and Life Sciences

Healthcare is a stable and satisfactory profession and there is a worldwide demand of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, laboratory technicians and researchers. Medicine, nursing, biotechnology or pharmacy students have a chance to pursue clinical and research-based careers. The healthcare professionals are lacking in countries such as Canada, USA and Australia, and this presents a good opportunity to the international students. In addition to being financially stable, healthcare jobs offer the opportunity to have a meaningful social contribution.

3.     Business, Finance and Management

The international business and finance industry provides a lot of opportunities to Nepali students who pursue a course in business administration, economics, accounting or finance. The most popular positions are financial analyst, consultant, marketing manager, project manager, and human resources specialist. Graduates are able to work in multinational corporations, start ups, consulting companies or financial institutions. Remote work is also flexible and therefore students are able to combine the work and studies in an effective way.

New trends are remote work and freelancing which further increase opportunities.
