Admission & Residence Permit Process for Nepali Students (2025)

·       Application through studyinfo.fi (main intake: January).

·       Prerequisites: Related qualifications, English skills (IELTS 6.0+ minimum), a letter of motivation.

·       Get acceptance.

·       Submit an online application for a Residence Permit through enterfinland.fi or the Finnish embassy (usually through VFS or in New Delhi/Kathmandu).

·       Required Documents: Identity card, acceptance letter, financial means (€800/month or scholarship), medical insurance, tuition payment/scholarship proof.

·       Process time may take 1–3 months (apply as early as possible!).

·       Permit validity for the entire length of the study.

 Monthy cost of Living in Finland (2025)

-        Rent (in student houses/shared): €400–€700

-        Food (supermarket + canteen): €250–€400

-        Transport: €50–€100

-        Miscellaneous (mobile, leisure): €100–€200

Total: €900–€1,200

Part-Time Work & Career Opportunities
